Tattoo removal works by using laser technology to break down the ink particles in the tattoo. The laser emits short pulses of high-intensity light that target the pigment in the tattoo ink. This light energy is absorbed by the ink, causing it to fragment into smaller particles. Over time, the body’s immune system naturally processes these smaller ink particles, gradually fading the tattoo with each session. The number of sessions required depends on factors like the size, colour, and age of the tattoo.

To remove the tattoo our PicoWay lasers shoot high-speed, and high intensity acoustic light through the top layer of skin, directly hitting the larger pigments of ink, shattering the ink into smaller particles. The immune system then removes the shattered ink particles causing the tattoos to fade and eventually disappear.
