Most people say it feels like a rubber band snapping against the skin. The PicoWay laser is generally less painful than older lasers. We recommend applying a numbing cream (available at pharmacies) around 45 minutes before your appointment, and we use a cooling device, called a Zimmer, during treatment for added comfort.
