To remove the tattoo our state-of-the-art PicoWay® lasers shoot high-speed, and high intensity acoustic light through the top layer of skin, directly hitting the larger pigments of ink, shattering the ink into smaller particles. The immune system then removes the shattered ink particles causing the tattoos to fade and eventually disappear.
A number of sessions are required to achieve complete tattoo removal. This varies with the range of colours in the tattoo, your skin type and where it is located on your body. But don’t worry, our app works all that out for you. The interval between sessions generally is about 6 weeks but can increase depending on an individual’s skin and other medical conditions.
